Summer holidays and as I’m onboard a flight, Italy bound, with the kids glued to their screens next to me, I feel I’m almost wishing the time away. In events however, we’re always looking ahead to the coming season, and now is the prime time for us to start planning for that all-important festive period.
Last year was a big one with our long-awaited freedom to party together once more… So the bar is set high to beat that in 2023! Never fear, Christmas is our speciality and we have seven sensational ideas to bring the yuletide cheer to any celebration!
Roaming Band – ‘Tis the season to raise a glass to good friends, and what better way to do it than with a roaming band of sharp-suited gents to create the background ambience? With a repertoire as brimming as Santa’s sleigh and clever mash-ups to make anyone’s Christmas, Cocktail Club Roamers are the real deal (plus, did you know they offer a bespoke online Musical Mixtape Quiz for those remote events?!)
Mirror Dancers – Christmas is the perfect opportunity to go all out with the sparkle, and our mirr
or dancers are sure to make an impact! For a choreographed crescendo, freestyle dance and meet & greet, or even incorporated into a flashmob, these blingy balls will put the dazzle into any event!
Walkabout Magician – Do you still ‘believe’? Most of us love an opportunity to feel the magic at Christmas. Don’t be disillusioned with thinking if you’ve seen one, you’ve seen ‘em all… We work closely with a handpicked selection of magicians, who are continually perfecting their art to bring fresh tricks to every event and ensure every guest leaves with a sense of wonderment.
Festive Elephant – I may have blogged about this gorgeous beast before, but I adore it so plea
se forgive me! What a way to wow your guests, with a life-sized elephant, adorned with a festive, illuminated headdress, ready to create a conversation piece as well as a unique idea for photograph opportunities? Joined by its rider and escort, this beautiful creature needs a bit of space to work but is just spectacular!
Santa Babies – Our most popular and home-grown act! Nothing says vintage like a female close-part harmony group (think ‘White Christmas’ complete with fur-trimmed red dresses!). Offering an all singing and dancing show with a mix of Christmas classics and some cheeky retro arrangements of more modern festive songs (it’s not Christmas without some Mariah!), plus NEW FOR THIS YEAR – a classy acoustic jazz set! These ladies can adapt their sets to be background or party and can even mix up the show to incorporate a later all-sequinned, Soul & Motown Estrellas set to keep the dancing going!
Steel Band – Go with me on this one… A steel band is for life, not just for summer! There’s something special about the tinkling sounds of steel pan, playing wintry songs with a summer twist. The ultimate feel-good vibe. Pass me the festive Pimms!
