LB PIANO – CREATING A BEAUTIFUL ELEGANT ATMOSPHERE ON THE PIANO FOR WEDDINGS, CORPORATE & LUXURY EVENTS

LB was born in 1992 and grew up in Tadley north-east Hampshire. His home life was filled with music, and his formal musical education began early with piano lessons given by his grandmother starting when he was only five years old. By the time he was 15,  he was frequently called upon as the keyboard player and drummer in school musical performances. At the age of 15, driven both by a logical progression and a desire to share his passion for piano-playing, he was in the rehearsal room as a student teacher, giving piano lessons to his contemporaries. Queen Mary’s College, Basingstoke, was the obvious next step for LB in his quest for a deeper engagement with the world of music, studying music practice and performance. This enthusiasm blossomed into a band that he created which played widely in the south of England. Soon they were supporting well-established artists from the UK charts. This in its turn led to the release of a single through a London-based record label candy bass records. By the time he left Queen Mary’s, LB had built a solid reputation as both an inventive and a reliable keyboard player, well-versed in the current idioms and styles forming themselves into the unique sounds of early 21st century popular music. To confirm this status, LB played backing keys with Lauren Aquilina on her BBC introducing headline set at the Reading and Leeds festivals. He followed this up by performing on her sold out UK tour before going on to play piano with various other up-and-coming artists on radio sessions, at festivals and in theatres.

Today he runs his company, private piano tuition. A modern piano school with classical roots which teaches playing for pleasure and playing up the exam ladder with the associated board of the royal schools of music. LB frequently plays for weddings, proposals, hotels, private dinners, ships, corporate events and studio work. His carefully picked repertoire is ideal for a subtle yet beautiful ambience to carry the night through. Lewis has performed in front of multiple celebrities and high profile figures. His recent clientele include: The Four Seasons Hotels, De Vere hotels, Brittany Ferries, corporate events for BMW, mini and private performances for some of the wealthiest families in the world.
